Admissions
The Admissions Office provides and promotes relevant information that assists potential students in joining the institution. It also process initial documentary requirements for admission.
GENERAL POLICY:
1. GCIC shall maintain an academic standard on its own in parallel to the mission and vision of the Institution, with due consideration to the requirements of all relevant government regulatory bodies. Hence it is the policy of the Institution to review and modify admission and testing standards periodically.
2. The Admissions Office shall maintain the highest standard of confidentiality and integrity by securing admission and testing materials and outputs at all times.
3. It is the policy of GCIC to assess subjects taken from previous college or university prior to final accreditation. The basis for the accreditation shall be the subject, course description and number of units required.
4. Successful examinees are required to submit pre-enrolment requirements. Failure to submit the admission credentials after one (1) semester of attendance at GCIC will render the student’s enrolment null and void.
5. A student who incurs change of status, address and other relevant information should immediately inform the Data & Records Management Office (DRMO- formerly Office of the Registrar) in writing.
6. The Institution shall admit foreign student-applicants to enroll provided they satisfy all admission requirements of GCIC and outside agency educational partners.
7. Applicants may be admitted on the bases of performance in the GCIC Entrance Test (GET), Interview, General Weighted Average (GWA) and other requisites required by the specific program.
Admissions Procedure
1. Visit and talk to any Admissions and Evaluation Staff
2. Submit 1 pc 2×2 colored picture
3. Student is issued an account name (Username/Password)
4. Applicant encodes personal data on line
5. Take the computerized GET conducted everyday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Free entrance exam)
6. After the exam, applicant is scheduled for interview
7. Admission results and interview are reviewed to determine if the applicant passed
PASSED: Issue Notice of Admission (NOA) & Checklist of Enrollment requirements
FAILED: Inform the Applicant
8. This NOA should be presented to the Admissions Office upon enrollment

2. Documents are submitted for evaluation of credits earned, year placement and identification of subjects to be enrolled
3. Pay a non-refundable fee of PhP 500.00
4. Submit the following upon taking the entrance Test
-Clear copy of grades or Transcript of Records
-1 pc. 2×2 colored picture
5. Take the computerized GET conducted everyday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
6. After the exam, applicant is scheduled for interview
7. Admission results are released immediately after the interview by issuing a Notice of Admission (NOA) to the applicant
8. This NOA should be presented to the Admissions Office upon enrollment

3. Original copy of Notice of Acceptance (NOA) containing a clear impression of the school’s official dry seal or duly notarized written endorsement from the school for conversion of the applicant’s status signed by the School Registrar
4. Original copy of medical certificate issued by the Bureau of Quarantine and International Health Surveillance or a government medical institution with competence to certify that the applicant is not afflicted with any dangerous, contagious or loathsome disease and is mentally fit
5. Photocopy of applicant’s passport (bio-page, latest admission and authorized stay)
6. National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) Clearance
7. BI Clearance
1. Certificate of Eligibility from USVAO
2. VA Enrollment Certification (VA Form 22-1999)
Enrollment Procedure
1) Proceed to the ADVISING AREA with the Notice of Admission, Evaluation of Credit Form and evaluated Curriculum.
2) Adviser issues a Student Enrollment Form (SEF) based on the subjects to be enrolled indicated in the Evaluation of Credits Form (ECF). The Adviser leaves the ECF, the evaluated Curriculum and the PDF with them, to be forwarded to the DRMO.
3) Proceed to the Subject Scheduled Area with the SEF for the Schedule of subjects to be taken.
4) Proceed to the Enlistment Area with the SEF for assessment.
- – If the schedule selected is no longer available, enrollee may choose another schedule from the list.
- – Encoder issues an Enrollment Assessment Form (EAF).
- – NOTE: Changing of section is not allowed after enlistment.
5) Proceed to the Accounting Office for payment of fees.
6) Proceed to the Security Office for the School ID processing.
7) Proceed to the Bookstore for the school uniform.
8) Sign up for Orientation seminar, Library, Medical and Dental requirements.
9) Report to the school on orientation date.
10) Report to the school on opening of classes with his/her accomplished EAF (stamped: PAID) and School ID.
